The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Bosch in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Sitko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Wasyl Cipinski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ermengol Baena firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Franco Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 14th minute of play forced IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hieronim Kaider in the 17th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Danisiewicz took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermengol Baena. Ermengol Baena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Franco Bosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Sitko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IGloopoL's zone, Franco Bosch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Sitko came out of the goal and Franco Bosch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Bosch scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edward Sitko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franco Bosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Sitko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Bosch ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 33rd minute of play forced IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Sadurni hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the IGloopoL defense, Franco Bosch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Sitko. The IGloopoL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Sitko should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hieronim Kaider to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, IGloopoL's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Edward Sitko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Franco Bosch made a precise shot to the right of Edward Sitko. IGloopoL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franco Bosch succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 57th playminute. Edward Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Bosch in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, IGloopoL's Edward Sitko got control of the ball when Franco Bosch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermengol Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Kaider in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Wasyl Cipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IGloopoL made a substitution. Roland Soszka replaced Wasyl Cipinski. After 68 played minutes IGloopoL got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Cipinski. In the 68th minute, Franco Bosch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Kaider came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Bosch couldn't finish the play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
