The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Laboon SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. İrfan Genç didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Georg Termander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 9th minute of play forced Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şener Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 14th minute of play. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebben Johansson in the 18th minute of the match. Laboon SK's Şener Irmak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 21st minute of play. Şener Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 24th minute of play. Arne Tönnberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyip Toktuğ in the 32nd minute of play. When Laboon SK's Yan Sha Yin in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Loco Durazno might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şener Irmak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Durazno ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Sha Yin came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Durazno. In the 43rd minute, Georg Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Laboon SK's Mihkel Äss seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mihkel Äss the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Laboon SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mihkel Äss had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laboon SK! Şener Irmak had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Bebben Johansson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Durazno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Marcelo Steven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şener Irmak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 58th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 60th minute of play forced Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yan Sha Yin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Şener Irmak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loco Durazno went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir was substituted for Marcelo Steven. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Mats Nyström replaced Georg Termander. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. 72 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's İbrahim Efe Topdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şener Irmak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laboon SK's Şener Irmak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 74th minute of play. Şener Irmak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Tokhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Yan Sha Yin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Laboon SK's zone, İbrahim Efe Topdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener Irmak came out of the goal and İbrahim Efe Topdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şener Irmak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burç Tokhan went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the game, İbrahim Efe Topdemir threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laboon SK's Cüneyd Kutkan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 86 minutes in the game, Mats Nyström dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Şener Irmak came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström. But to his dismay, Mats Nyström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Şener Irmak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burç Tokhan went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laboon SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Golden Lions FC.
