Wincent Pawlik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Britto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Wincent Pawlik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bebeto Britto. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Cipriano Hermes from a close distance when the talented Bebeto Britto managed to make a qualified save. Milanis E.C.'s players were relieved. 17 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Pawlik came free, but Bebeto Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Santo Amaro AC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Santo Amaro AC's Wincent Pawlik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Zé Carlos da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 45th minute, Fabiano de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Polozov's late challenge caught a Milanis E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Polozov helped the player get up and apologised. Hudson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eduard Polozov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Britto having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Santo Amaro AC's Cipriano Hermes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Cipriano Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Arósio in the 76th minute of play. Cipriano Hermes scored 7-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bebeto Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bebeto Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Hermes went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Cipriano Hermes took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Britto. Bebeto Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Polozov in the 92nd minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Bebeto Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Amaro AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
