Xu Zheng Zhou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tito Ramírez went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olaf Modliszewski charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Modliszewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olaf Modliszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Tito Ramírez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xu Zheng Zhou. COLLEGNO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tito Ramírez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri got control of the ball when Oliver Giroud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xu Zheng Zhou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Ramírez in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezia FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Thibau Van Mellaert hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, COLLEGNO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tito Ramírez came free, but Xu Zheng Zhou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Angel Quinito got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Oliver Giroud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Tito Ramírez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLLEGNO F.C.'s Xu Zheng Zhou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. COLLEGNO F.C.'s Xu Zheng Zhou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tito Ramírez in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Ramírez in the 41st minute of play forced COLLEGNO F.C.'s goalkeeper Xu Zheng Zhou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COLLEGNO F.C. were furious when Carlo Arpaia was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Carlo Arpaia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Venezia FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Oliver Giroud made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Abbondanzieri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Giroud's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. COLLEGNO F.C.'s Oliver Giroud managed to work through Venezia FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Oliver Giroud dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 60 played minutes COLLEGNO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslav Michálek. When Desiderio Salvadore fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezia FC's protests and gave Desiderio Salvadore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Salvadore to maneuver through the defense. Xu Zheng Zhou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thibau Van Mellaert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Giroud came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Salvadore's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xu Zheng Zhou firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tito Ramírez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Xu Zheng Zhou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Flavio Bazkoare came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Bazkoare couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in COLLEGNO F.C.'s zone, Desiderio Salvadore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xu Zheng Zhou came out of the goal and Desiderio Salvadore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thibau Van Mellaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when COLLEGNO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Desiderio Salvadore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Salvadore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Salvadore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xu Zheng Zhou. That made the score 0-6 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
