With an all-out effort, Norrlands Athen's Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Lebron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 7th minute of play. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, FC Cavia Pyskowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Naumowicz to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Gao Le Ang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Safet Hands. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gao Le Ang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, FC Cavia Pyskowice's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Safet Hands stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jedrzej Indyk's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the game, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Gao Le Ang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Safet Hands made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 37th minute Jedrzej Indyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Norrlands Athen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Slivkov in the 40th minute. Rosendo Senon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 45th minute of play. After the first half FC Cavia Pyskowice were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Lebron made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jedrzej Indyk got free with Safet Hands in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Indyk in the 54th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jedrzej Indyk got free with Safet Hands in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Jedrzej Indyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt was substituted for Wieslaw Wos. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Le Ang, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the FC Cavia Pyskowice defense, Gilbert Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia. The FC Cavia Pyskowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
