An unexpectedly hard shot by Chumo Palmero in the 9th minute of play forced Coventry Motors FC's goalkeeper Júlio César to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio César narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Chumo Palmero managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruh Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Chumo Palmero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio César breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chumo Palmero struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Júlio César didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ruh Lviv. Júlio César made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Chumo Palmero sent off a good shot on target.
