Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luiz Fernando de Toledo made the kick off which started today's match. The long shot by Mané Abreu in the 4th minute really tested Santos Perez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Benjamim Nunes came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Persepolis F.C.'s Avery Merrill. But to his dismay, Avery Merrill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benjamim Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Luiz Fernando de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Poulin came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Persepolis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andy Duff. 29 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Poulin came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Persepolis F.C. were awarded a corner. Arden Poulin went to the cornerflag to take it. 30 minutes into the game, Abraham Dutton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benjamim Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Avery Merrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to WAU team getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Abel Prado hit a great ball. Justo Carlomagno kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. WAU team's Luiz Fernando de Toledo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benjamim Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arden Poulin in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Persepolis F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arden Poulin to strike the kick off in the second half. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arden Poulin in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Poulin came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Merrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arden Poulin got free with Benjamim Nunes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando de Toledo in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Avery Merrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Novaes lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of WAU team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamim Nunes. Benjamim Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avery Merrill went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute of the match, Justo Carlomagno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Nunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Danny Craig took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamim Nunes. Benjamim Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Benjamim Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Carlomagno in the 89th minute. Rony de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
