Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kåre Adelsköld kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alfons Lövgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki in the 13th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Adam Pacholewski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute Gottfrid Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bahrtys Talanger's goalie and right to Adam Pacholewski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bahrtys Talanger's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Stor in the 23rd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Gottfrid Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Thomas Vollmar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Vollmar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfons Lövgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bahrtys Talanger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Bahrtys Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Adelsköld to maneuver through the defense. Bahrtys Talanger's Arvid Rang was substituted for 邓广烨. The supporters of Bahrtys Talanger booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Newcastle United's Zé Paulo Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfons Lövgren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfons Lövgren came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar. But to his dismay, Thomas Vollmar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, Fabian Hermansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When Bernardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bahrtys Talanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Silva couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bernardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahrtys Talanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Bahrtys Talanger's Bernardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Newcastle United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bahrtys Talanger.
