The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arthur Morgan´s Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvestre Gonzo was slow to take the kick. During this time Huracan FC's players had a chance to rest. Silvestre Gonzo made a great header on Huracan FC's corner, it was just that Arthur Morgan´s Club's Samuel Buinton managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Jonathan Calleri got a free kick in the 9th minute. Samuel Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 36 minutes, Herminio Abalos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Samuel Buinton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Huracan FC's Arne Pettersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Collin in the 40th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Sergio Mergildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arthur Morgan´s Club and the Huracan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Arthur Morgan´s Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Abalos to make the kick off. Samuel Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Abalos in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Abalos in the 54th minute of play forced Arthur Morgan´s Club's goalkeeper Samuel Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arne Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Gustaf Bogren made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Buinton. Arthur Morgan´s Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Jonathan Calleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huracan FC made a substitution. Jairo Jaen replaced Gustaf Bogren. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Sergio Mergildo got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Sergio Mergildo off the ground. A collision led to Arthur Morgan´s Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sergio Mergildo hit a great ball. Arthur Morgan´s Club made a substitution. Maximino Vela replaced Clodoveo Feliz. After 76 played minutes Arthur Morgan´s Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Mergildo. Herminio Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Huracan FC booed when Arthur Morgan´s Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Calleris short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Arne Pettersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alonzo Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Huracan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Jaen. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huracan FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arthur Morgan´s Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
