Delmiro Makaus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Walkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haroldas Strazdas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibau Cornelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Haroldas Strazdas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibau Cornelis in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas. Haroldas Strazdas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of AFC Irocha booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldas Strazdas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibau Cornelis in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when 曹适常 got free with Haroldas Strazdas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Guerra in the 55th minute of play forced AFC Irocha's goalkeeper Damian Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roderik Maenhout during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas got control of the ball when Pierre-Alexandre De Marrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute Tibau Cornelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldas Strazdas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldas Strazdas came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Irocha's Tibau Cornelis. But to his dismay, Tibau Cornelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 75 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibau Cornelis came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Hugo Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartans FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Jaspar Raymaekers hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Spartans FC's Hugo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Walkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Haroldas Strazdas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibau Cornelis in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Hugo Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC Irocha played a much better game than Spartans FC and deserved their victory. The Spartans FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
