Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Johansson in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Dexiators's Lennart Johansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Max Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gyula Grosics made a huge save. Gyula Grosics made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Gustafsson in the 38th minute. Matthias Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 43rd minute of the match. Ludvig Lindqvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Zoltán Varga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Lindgren having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Gustafsson to make the kick off.
