Spectators: 140 (Terracing: 106, Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) Noroeste Paulista's Nuno de Andrade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Alfons Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Alfons Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Alfons Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noroeste Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Damaso Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Isaac Orlin took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Damaso Roldanillo to make any attempt to save it. Baldomero Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Laguna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Noroeste Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Noroeste Paulista's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renato Baptista was slow to take the kick. During this time Amegino's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Amegino's Renato Baptista to fire away a dangerous shot which Damaso Roldanillo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Amegino's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno de Andrade came free, but Baldomero Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Noroeste Paulista booed when Amegino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Stephen to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Roldanillo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Noroeste Paulista's Alfons Persson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Damaso Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Stephen in the 55th minute of the match. Renato Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Roldanillo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno de Andrade in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Platon saved Amegino from getting behind. A collision led to Amegino getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Godfredo Ritchie hit a great ball. Baldomero Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno de Andrade in the 65th minute of play. Sergio Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Marcelo Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Orlin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Orlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaac Orlin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Amegino got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Orlin. In the 82nd minute of the match, Nuno de Andrade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomero Platon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute Noroeste Paulista were awarded a corner. Alfons Persson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Téo Neiva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Platon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Franklin Amaral got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 85 played minutes Amegino got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Amaral. Noroeste Paulista made a substitution. Douglas Pinho replaced Nuno de Andrade. 88 minutes into the match, Amegino's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Montrel came free, but Baldomero Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Montrel in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Noroeste Paulista got a corner. Amegino's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfons Persson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfons Persson made a great header on Noroeste Paulista's corner, it was just that Amegino's Baldomero Platon managed to reach the ball for a save.
