The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amegino's Baldomero Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Medardo in the 2nd minute of play. When Margarita's Higinio Urti in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amegino's goalie prevented a goal. When Talha Ghiaz fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amegino's protests and gave Talha Ghiaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Margarita booed when Amegino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talha Ghiaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Amegino's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Lorencio came free, but Baldomero Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Aires made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jeremias Luzea sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute Amegino were awarded a corner. Renato Baptista went to the cornerflag to take it. Renato Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Evelio Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Severo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Amegino's goalkeeper Baldomero Platon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Firme hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Margarita's Evelio Medardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Platon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Urti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Diego Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Urti in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Platon saved Amegino from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Evelio Medardo lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Baldomero Platon. In the 63rdth minute of the game Higinio Urti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amegino's Baldomero Platon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Platon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Medardo in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Baptista came free, but Danilo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Baldomero Platon managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Margarita's Higinio Urti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baldomero Platon had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Higinio Urti from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Higinio Urtis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Baldomero Platon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Baldomero Platon made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Evelio Medardo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Olov Wallgren got a free kick in the 78th minute. Margarita's Róbert Jánosi was substituted for Evelio Medardo. In the 79th minute, Olov Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Baldomero Platon throw himself and got hold of the ball when Higinio Urti in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Firme in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Luciano Mon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Baldomero Platon made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Róbert Jánosi sent off a good shot on target. Amegino's Baldomero Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Amegino from getting a goal against them. Margarita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
