Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 18th minute of play. Jeremias Moreno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Higinio Urti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 20 minute of play. Zaquiel Puredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Aires having to interfere. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Urti in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Denílson Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Aires. Margarita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denílson Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Denílson Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denílson Tepedino ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Zhang Zhou Lin threw the ball into play from the sideline. ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tales De Mileto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Rivero came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Mon in the 47th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ADM Taquaras were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Urti made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Danilo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Mon spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ADM Taquaras's goal. Denílson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Margarita's Danilo Aires got control of the ball when Denílson Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Mon in the 66th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Mon in the 69th minute of the match. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Nestor Soeiro replaced Cesar Quinto. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was substituted for Zaquiel Puredo. After 74 minutes Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Áron Bódog who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Olívio Meireles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danilo Aires quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Aires. That made the score 1-4 after 77 minutes of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Áron Bódog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Danilo Aires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Áron Bódog who took care of the corner kick. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Danilo Aires in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Danilo Aires came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino. But to his dismay, Denílson Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Áron Bódog in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Aires saved Margarita from getting behind. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Áron Bódog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Aires came out of the goal and Áron Bódog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ADM Taquaras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ADM Taquaras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
