With an all-out effort, Mount Pleasant FC's Francesco Toldo threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Mapps, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Mapps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Severo Tono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mount Pleasant FC's Aaron Ramsdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eavan Mcjunkin in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Tono in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Ramsdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Resurrección Diabólica Ψ were awarded a corner. Epifanio Cristos went to the cornerflag to take it. Rodney Buckland thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Aaron Ramsdal, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Mark Mapps dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francesco Toldo, 1-1. Gabriel-Omar Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Ramsdal having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Eavan Mcjunkin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco Toldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 30th minute, Eavan Mcjunkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eavan Mcjunkin. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dallas Kuch sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute of the match Mount Pleasant FC got a corner. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodney Buckland ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mount Pleasant FC's Rodney Buckland to fire away a dangerous shot which Francesco Toldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when Eavan Mcjunkin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severo Tono's late challenge caught a Mount Pleasant FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Tono helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mount Pleasant FC booed when Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dallas Kuch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Epifanio Cristos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aaron Ramsdal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gabriel-Omar Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ made a substitution. Mando Lucifer replaced Severo Tono. Epifanio Cristos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Ramsdal having to make a save.
