Okanalp Özdil started the match with the kick off. Candelaria FC's Anak Agung Agafonnikov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Pablo Sorin, made in the 2nd minute of the game. After taking down the ball on ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s corner Benito Laurin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Bonifaco quite easily take care of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Osikowicz came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Matias Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okanalp Özdil. In the 14th minute Benito Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Čech made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Okanalp Özdil sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Matias Čech got control of the ball when Okanalp Özdil tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 20th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Matias Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Matias Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ from getting a goal against them. Matias Čech made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Okanalp Özdil sent off a good shot on target. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s attentive Raúl Breckenfeld managed to snatch the ball when Anak Agung Agafonnikov made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Juan Pablo Sorin's late challenge caught a Candelaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Pablo Sorin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Juan Pablo Sorin hit a great ball. Matias Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Okanalp Özdil in the 31st minute. Candelaria FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marciano Lekubegi took the corner. Marciano Lekubegi made a great header on Candelaria FC's corner, it was just that ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Matias Čech managed to reach the ball for a save. If Piotr Osikowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ made a substitution. Angelo Nunes replaced Diguinho Freire. Thanks to some nice moves Okanalp Özdil could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Matias Čech however easily saved by the left post. Matias Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okanalp Özdil in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, one of Candelaria FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Candelaria FC. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™. Iker Boruc stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomás Bonifaco. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Boruc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Okanalp Özdil came free, but Matias Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Candelaria FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Boruc in the 56th minute of play. Candelaria FC's Arnaldo Marquez was substituted for Okanalp Özdil. Candelaria FC made a substitution. Sven-Olof Sjöberg replaced Antonio Alzamendi. Matias Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 77th minute Sven-Olof Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Matias Čech. Matias Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Sven-Olof Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87th play minutes Timoteo Michael shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Matias Čech and just under the crossbar into goal. Matias Čech came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Candelaria FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
