A wasted opportunity for Keep Walking Project. After some careless play in the VILLANUEVA FC defense, Galo van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodemo Recalde. The VILLANUEVA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodemo Recalde should have stopped the shot. Keep Walking Project's Aron Iurașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Soler in the 12th minute of play. Nicodemo Recalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafız Öztekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. VILLANUEVA FC's Nicodemo Recalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galo van Basten in the 15th minute of play. With his leg Aron Iurașcu managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when VILLANUEVA FC's Xalvador Mac Kenney fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xalvador Mac Kenney had several of the Keep Walking Project's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Aron Iurașcu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aron Iurașcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xalvador Mac Kenney in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute VILLANUEVA FC were awarded a corner. Xacobo Barroso went to the cornerflag to take it. Xacobo Barroso made a great header on VILLANUEVA FC's corner, it was just that Keep Walking Project's Aron Iurașcu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st minute Lionel-Andrés Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Recalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Kořán came free, but Nicodemo Recalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Hafız Öztekin made a precise shot to the right of Nicodemo Recalde. VILLANUEVA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Xalvador Mac Kenney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galo van Basten came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicodemo Recalde could save by the left post. Lionel-Andrés Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nicodemo Recalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, VILLANUEVA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban José Norambuena to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicodemo Recalde was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Keep Walking Project's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Gerardo Gazitúa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 77th minute of play forced VILLANUEVA FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Recalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, VILLANUEVA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Keep Walking Project's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galo van Basten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicodemo Recalde stood somewhat misplaced when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 82 minute. In the 86th minute, Keep Walking Project's Marian Maghiran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. In the 91st minute Lionel-Andrés Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodemo Recalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Xacobo Barroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLANUEVA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keep Walking Project the free kick. The supporters of Keep Walking Project booed when VILLANUEVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xacobo Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo van Basten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Nicodemo Recalde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the game, Keep Walking Project's Galo van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicodemo Recalde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Keep Walking Project's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
