Oranil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imbituba - FSCMZ the free kick. After 3 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto da Costa. After some careless play in the Oranil defense, Nathaniel Burnett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Koehler. The Oranil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Koehler should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the game, Márcio de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oranil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imbituba - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Márcio de Azevedo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Nathaniel Burnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Koehler came out of the goal and Nathaniel Burnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto da Costa made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aloísio Rossi immediately put the ball in play. João Augusto da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Nathaniel Burnett scored 0-4 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonçalo Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sidney Motta made a huge save. When Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oranil's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Ortiz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oranil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Rogério da Silva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Percival Simão in the 40 minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Rogério da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival Simão during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oranil's Téo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nathaniel Burnett was the one to do the kick off. Nathaniel Burnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Koehler having to make a save. Téo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Burnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Téo Koehler was a little too slow when Nathaniel Burnett got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-8. After having played for 57 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathaniel Burnett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match, Nathaniel Burnett tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Téo Koehler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 60 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Rossi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathaniel Burnett got free with Téo Koehler in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Téo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Burnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Oranil's Téo Koehler got control of the ball when Tostão Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Oranil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dani Alves took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dani Alves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Téo Koehler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Téo Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes Oranil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Alves who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 76th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Téo Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 80 minutes into the match, Válbson Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Téo Koehler. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Válbson Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. With a little luck, Oranil's Téo Koehler got control of the ball when Válbson Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dani Alves hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Faustão Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Téo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Drysdale, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
