Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Amaral came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Gary. Jagiellonia Denver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldão Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Maragassume AD - CIMZ's zone, 蔡伟洲 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauan de Senna came out of the goal and 蔡伟洲 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio Donatello got free with Cauan de Senna in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan de Senna came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Jagiellonia Denver's 蔡伟洲. But to his dismay, 蔡伟洲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eric Gary came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches. But to his dismay, Ronaldão Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 38th minute Maragassume AD - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Remo de Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Maragassume AD - CIMZ's corner Fernandão Cearense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eric Gary quite easily take care of the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Amaral in the 40th minute of play. Maragassume AD - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Jagiellonia Denver's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Remo de Almeida took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Remo de Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Gary quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eric Gary didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

João Carlos Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Sanches in the 63rd minute of play forced Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when Maragassume AD - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jagiellonia Denver's Venceslas Borizar was substituted for Nicolae Costa. After a rather tough play, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Diamantino Neves got a free kick in the 64th minute. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Donatello in the 70th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Eric Gary threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldão Sanches, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sergiu Râznicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eric Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jagiellonia Denver's Rudolf Garreau was substituted for Michal Majdoch. Maragassume AD - CIMZ made a substitution. Edmundo Tande replaced Remo de Almeida. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Râznicu in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Diamantino Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Gary made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Aníbal Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Sergiu Râznicu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Özalp Durkaya got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Diamantino Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Maragassume AD - CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maragassume AD - CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
