Gilberto Nogueira took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loris Karius. Loris Karius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Wesley Dante made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loris Karius was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Gilberto Nogueira in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RWD Molenbeek's goalie prevented a goal. After 10 minutes, Gilberto Nogueira made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nogueira came free, but Loris Karius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anísio Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Loris Karius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anísio Souza made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Inocencio Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Lucas Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Anísio Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loris Karius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza got control of the ball when Inocencio Guipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Dante in the 39th minute of play forced RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Loris Karius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Julio Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Loris Karius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Brasil during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Aster Brasil Futebol Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dito Brasil hit a great ball. Ofelio Lagunas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, RWD Molenbeek's Gaizkine Urbina got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Aster Brasil Futebol Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Dito Brasil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With 57 minutes on the clock, Kléberson Pena commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 56 minutes into the game, one of RWD Molenbeek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Loris Karius made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Wesley Dante sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in RWD Molenbeek's zone, Gilberto Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loris Karius came out of the goal and Gilberto Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Gilberto Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséas Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Loris Karius throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gilberto Nogueira in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Guipuzkoa came free, but Anísio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Gilberto Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nogueira in the 80th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Gilberto Nogueira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Loris Karius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Gilberto Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
