Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Winnicki started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Irmantas Zenkevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Winnicki got free with Emerson Whaley in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Winnicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emerson Whaley made a huge save. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Finman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Winnicki in the 8th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Emerson Whaley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Whaley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Winnicki in the 9th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Hopson in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lawrence Hopson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Finman came free, but Emerson Whaley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Brochu in the 17th minute of play. After 17 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Levi Cronin. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Levi Cronin hit a great ball. Henrik Ingemarsson came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Richmond's Lawrence Hopson. But to his dismay, Lawrence Hopson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when David Brochu came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Catholic Church getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Timur Malyugin hit a great ball. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Brochu in the 38th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Brochu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, David Brochu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henrik Ingemarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Mladenovič struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Henrik Ingemarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stig-Åke Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Lawrence Hopson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, AFC Richmond's Lawrence Hopson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Ingemarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lawrence Hopson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Richmond's protests and gave Lawrence Hopson a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Brochu got free with Henrik Ingemarsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Timur Malyugin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Emerson Whaley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Ljungberg in the 75th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson stood somewhat misplaced when Irmantas Zenkevičius came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 79 minute. AFC Richmond's Erin Valencia was substituted for Ali Can. Henrik Ingemarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irmantas Zenkevičius in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Winnicki came free, but Emerson Whaley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskar Bergqvist during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Catholic Church was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. AFC Richmond's Levi Cronin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Brochu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC Richmond had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
