An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Melander in the 3rd minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Giorgos Kazatzidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toutourouki f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Y Progreso F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Union Y Progreso F.C. booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Kazatzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Fabio Cordarell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Olle Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Santiago Meruendano scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 minutes, Ulises Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toutourouki f.c. and the Union Y Progreso F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Ting Xing in the 26th minute of play. Fabio Cordarell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolis Mantouvalos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Meruendano got free with Tolis Mantouvalos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 minutes of play, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Santiago Meruendano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolis Mantouvalos was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Domeka to make the kick off. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Meruendano in the 52nd minute of the match. Santiago Meruendano succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. With a left leg Tolis Mantouvalos saved Toutourouki f.c. from getting behind. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute Zeng Ting Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeng Ting Xing took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolis Mantouvalos. Tolis Mantouvalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 87thth minute of the game Zeng Ting Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Santiago Meruendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Zablakos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Fabio Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
