Makis Iosifakos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Puttemans in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Toutourouki f.c.'s zone, Christoph Van den Berch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolis Mantouvalos came out of the goal and Christoph Van den Berch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Steven Puttemans came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolis Mantouvalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giorgos Kazatzidis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Eubank in the 16th minute of play. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Puttemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Steven Puttemans came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match SK Mons got a corner. Toutourouki f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christoph Van den Berch ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Christoph Van den Berch almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos did a great save. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Puttemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Ulises Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Mons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christoph Van den Berch in the 41st minute. A nice corner shot did that Christoph Van den Berch got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tolis Mantouvalos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Puttemans in the 45th minute of play. Tolis Mantouvalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steven Puttemans went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Domeka to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Toutourouki f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Eubank came free, but Tolis Mantouvalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolis Mantouvalos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Cornel Ulici sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Ulici in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolis Mantouvalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to SK Mons getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Steven Puttemans hit a great ball. Connor Osmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Domeka in the 62nd minute of the match. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Puttemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Christoph Van den Berch struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Tolis Mantouvalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Mons. After a rather tough play, Toutourouki f.c.'s Giorgos Kazatzidis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Trevor Eubank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolis Mantouvalos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Puttemans in the 74th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Ulises Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SK Mons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
