No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcu Cruceru to make the kick off. Anak Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Enciu in the 55th minute of play forced C A U's goalkeeper Feliberto Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C A U's attentive Nico González managed to snatch the ball when Horia Bodiu made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that AC Milan Tigers were the better team. AC Milan Tigers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
