A collision led to Nankatsu SC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alper Evcimen hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Harun Gökyüzü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Mahuzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Sardelas in the 10th minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Mahuzier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlin Buhlev's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A collision led to INTER getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nontas Alexatos hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Edgardo Gombal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacio Mahuzier skillfully saved the ball. Nankatsu SC's Arlindo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Nankatsu SC from getting a goal against them. Berker Gerdaneri hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Orlin Buhlev notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of INTER's Ignacio Mahuzier. In the 47th minute of the match Carlos McAllister sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacio Mahuzier skillfully saved the ball. When Pantelis Vandis fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER's protests and gave Pantelis Vandis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, INTER's Pantelis Vandis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in INTER's zone, Orlin Buhlev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Mahuzier came out of the goal and Orlin Buhlev tried to chip the ball over his head. The supporters of Nankatsu SC booed when INTER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Sardelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Mahuzier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlin Buhlev, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Orlin Buhlev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, INTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Sardelas to maneuver through the defense. Orlin Buhlev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ignacio Mahuzier made a huge save. In the 71st minute Nankatsu SC were awarded a corner. Orestis Efthimiou went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Nankatsu SC's Berker Gerdaneri getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 78th minute, Orlin Buhlev made a precise shot to the right of Ignacio Mahuzier. INTER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Nankatsu SC's Serbülent Garipoğlu was substituted for Sahnoyan Şah. Ignacio Mahuzier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlin Buhlev's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Orlin Buhlev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER's Ignacio Mahuzier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nankatsu SC's Arlindo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Sardelas in the 94th minute of play. Nankatsu SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
