Gilbert Cieliczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Kretschmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Lutz Golke came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gilbert Cieliczka could save by the left post. In the 16th minute, Kurt Ahrem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilbert Cieliczka. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sultan-Mehmet De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pancha Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Sultan-Mehmet De Paula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Heyckendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Gumaro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Alex Mansilha from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Gilbert Cieliczka's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
