Kurt Ahrem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Heyckendorf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Lineker in the 15th minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Ahrem got free with Isidoro Rio in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Ahrem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Isidoro Rio made a huge save. The throw-in from Reinhard Baum in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Argentinean Patriots 1816's Eraldo Serantoni. Paul Heyckendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bello Cura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 25th minute of the match. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Mansilha in the 26th minute of play. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bello Cura made the kick off in the second half. Bello Cura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Heyckendorf having to make a save. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 54th minute of the match. Reinhard Baum made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joachim Kretschmer immediately put the ball in play. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Ahrem in the 58th minute of play. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Golke in the 59th minute of play. Roberto Seppmann replaced Reinhard Baum. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bello Cura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Bello Cura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Vrints in the 81st minute of play. Isidoro Rio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxime Vrints's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Argentinean Patriots 1816 got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Serantoni. In the 87th minute, Alex Mansilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Rio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 89th minute Maxime Vrints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Maxime Vrints cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Isidoro Rio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Argentinean Patriots 1816's goal looked a bit too open when Maxime Vrints came free, but Isidoro Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbigniew Setara scored 6-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Rio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Argentinean Patriots 1816's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
