He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MACUMBA reached it. In the 10th minute, Julio Eneko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laocoonte Greek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. MACUMBA's players were relieved. Markel Laraku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Paes in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Josué Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markel Laraku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markel Laraku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Laocoonte Greek got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Corderun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Eneko in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manga Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Julio Eneko sped through MACUMBA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manga Santos. 35 minutes into the match, Laocoonte Greek's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Quintal came free, but Markel Laraku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markel Laraku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Manga Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MACUMBA's zone, Gavino Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manga Santos came out of the goal and Gavino Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

MACUMBA's Flann Flack was substituted for Josué Quintal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Regis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Cutberto in the 54th minute of play forced MACUMBA's goalkeeper Manga Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flann Flack blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markel Laraku having to make a save. MACUMBA's Manga Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Regis in the 60th minute of play. Laocoonte Greek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Sakowicz in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Laocoonte Greek's corner Mariusz Sakowicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manga Santos quite easily take care of the ball. If Vivaldo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Paes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markel Laraku. That made the score 2-1 in the 67 minute of play. Gavino Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Manga Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Laocoonte Greek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Regis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MACUMBA's zone, Julio Eneko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manga Santos came out of the goal and Julio Eneko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markel Laraku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markel Laraku made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Flann Flack sent off a good shot on target. Markel Laraku didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Mazinho Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Markel Laraku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Gavino Regis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MACUMBA's Manga Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flann Flack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MACUMBA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
