The Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Mugur to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Crăciunaș in the 13th minute of the match. Florin Crăciunaș who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Zé Augusto Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matei Călin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Fernando Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Internazionale booed when Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilmi Acarer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Melchazadec Terron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Internazionale's zone, Mattias Tingelholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchazadec Terron came out of the goal and Mattias Tingelholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Tingelholm scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchazadec Terron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Nicu Lucescu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zé Augusto Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Popovici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicu Lucescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Zé Augusto Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Popovici in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron got control of the ball when Mattias Tingelholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Internazionale's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
