FC Triesenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Stjepan Sozzi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stjepan Sozzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Triesenberg's Stjepan Sozzi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Helmut Alabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Adriano Massa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Triesenberg's Helmut Alabor. Helmut Alabor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Massa in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Alabor saved FC Triesenberg from getting behind. The referee ignored Öllsjö FC's protests and gave Karl-Åke Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Öllsjö FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. FC Triesenberg's Helmut Alabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Massa in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Öllsjö FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Andersen made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goalkeeper Helmut Alabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Folke Gregersson. Jan-Ove Jernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Erivaldo Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Andersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Öllsjö FC booed when FC Triesenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Fischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Adriano Massa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Helmut Alabor. That made the score 0-6 in the 61 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Massa came free, but Helmut Alabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Öllsjö FC's attentive Jan-Ove Jernberg managed to snatch the ball when Stjepan Sozzi made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Marian Michna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helmut Alabor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Massa went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Öllsjö FC made a substitution. Per Billström replaced Jan-Ove Jernberg. If Adriano Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Triesenberg's Helmut Alabor got control of the ball when Adriano Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Nef during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Markus Nef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmut Alabor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Massa in the 89th minute. Adriano Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Alabor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over Öllsjö FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Triesenberg throughout the match.
