Alex Testaferrata Viani kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 14thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Triesenberg's keeper Helmut Alabor was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Helmut Alabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Thake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Triesenberg's Helmut Alabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Floriana Celtics's Kyle Thake ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Helmut Alabor. Helmut Alabor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgio Caruana in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Triesenberg's goalkeeper Helmut Alabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Triesenberg booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godwin Montesin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmut Alabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olgierd Dawiec in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmut Alabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Godwin Montesin came free, but Helmut Alabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Fischer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Olgierd Dawiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmut Alabor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 67 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Richard Lentini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Andersen. 70 minutes into the match, Kyle Thake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmut Alabor. FC Triesenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyle Thake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. FC Triesenberg's Antonio Jauch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Lentini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richard Lentini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Andersen's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Helmut Alabor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robby Baggio went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when FC Triesenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Fischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 99 minutes, Kyle Thake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floriana Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Thake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Floriana Celtics had played much better football throughout.
