Gonçalo Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Cavallaro in the 17th minute of play. Attilio Marzoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Vestlund went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Attilio Marzoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. White StarZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aipytos Vardoulakis in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Aipytos Vardoulakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Verbano FC's Attilio Marzoli did a great save. Aipytos Vardoulakis's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Attilio Marzoli - 0-3 was put on the score board in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ernst Vestlund put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Attilio Marzoli. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verbano FC's goalkeeper Attilio Marzoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Attilio Marzoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Vestlund in the 31st minute of play. Jordi Peñaranda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Attilio Marzoli. Verbano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florian Cavallaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Gonçalo Vides when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute Verbano FC were awarded a corner. Florian Cavallaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Ernst Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armin Fulgenzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonçalo Vides firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermanno Bencivenni during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. White StarZ made a substitution. Carlos Macias replaced Harald Helmfelt. A collision led to Verbano FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ennio Maccarone hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Aipytos Vardoulakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Vestlund made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Fausto Bertol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Marzoli was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Attilio Marzoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Bertol's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Verbano FC's Flavio Proietti got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ernst Vestlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernst Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Attilio Marzoli made a huge save. In the 71st minute White StarZ were awarded a corner. Aipytos Vardoulakis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 72nd minute of the game Alessio Palmisano made a throw-in which Martyon Brading played forward. The audience was convinced that Fausto Bertol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Marzoli was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Fausto Bertol might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attilio Marzoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Bertol ran back to his position shaking his head. Fausto Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. White StarZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
