With a little luck, Beira Alta's 钱常志 got control of the ball when Teobaldo Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 钱常志 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Lanckneus in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Ledesma in the 28th minute of play forced Beira Alta's goalkeeper 钱常志 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mechita F.C booed when Beira Alta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Peseiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Fabio Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 钱常志 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xabel Almiron kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Beira Alta got a freekick which was hit by Ximun Zaldos.

After a rather tough play, Beira Alta's Ximun Zaldos got a free kick in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Beira Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Jenaro came free, but 钱常志 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Jesus Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Lanckneus in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 钱常志 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 钱常志 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Mechita F.C were awarded a corner. Tim Zanetti went to the cornerflag to take it.
