Fergus Fairbairn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Faccio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Faccio came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Amedeo Faccio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Amedeo Faccio. But to his dismay, Amedeo Faccio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Yeste came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meriç Nurkan in the 30th minute of the match. Raymond Johnston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Emílio Cordeiro made a huge save. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Yeste in the 36th minute of play. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Meriç Nurkan. But to his dismay, Meriç Nurkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Amedeo Faccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler McCraw kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Erasmo Yeste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fergus Fairbairn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Š¢σяpiσиŠ made a substitution. Peiter Mora replaced Zula Puch. 53 minutes into the game, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Erasmo Yeste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fergus Fairbairn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Amedeo Faccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Faccio, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Š¢σяpiσиŠ made a substitution. Jorginho Esteves replaced Fortunato Domenghini. Darius Bontine kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Erasmo Yeste in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fergus Fairbairn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Logan McCubbin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Logan McCubbin to maneuver through the defense. Darius Bontine was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Amedeo Faccio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Faccio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meriç Nurkan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fergus Fairbairn came out and tried to block the shot, but Meriç Nurkan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Amedeo Faccio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Faccio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Gilberto Cardozo was substituted for Erasmo Yeste. In the 82nd minute Gilberto Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Š¢σяpiσиŠ fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Gilberto Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rangers FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Meriç Nurkan 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Nurkan in the 91st minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Faccio struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Š¢σяpiσиŠ. When the final whistle sounded Š¢σяpiσиŠ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rangers FC.
