After having played for 8 minutes, Maarten De Malier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maarten De Malier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wieslaw Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Toppi in the 10th minute. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten De Malier in the 16th minute of play. Maarten De Malier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Bartolomucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Kissel in the 27th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Federico Frabetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Federico Frabetti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wieslaw Dec. Federico Frabetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Federico Frabetti made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, André Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Eugenio Bartolomucci to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maarten De Malier during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maarten De Malier kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Federico Frabetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Frabetti in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wieslaw Dec saved Yolo from getting behind. If Maarten De Malier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Yolo's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Frabetti came free, but Wieslaw Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yolo defense, Federico Frabetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wieslaw Dec. The Yolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wieslaw Dec should have stopped the shot. Eugenio Bartolomucci had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Maarten De Malier from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Kissel came free, but Eugenio Bartolomucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten De Malier in the 79th minute of play.
