Wincenty Sikola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 16th minute of play forced EB Specjal Gdansk's goalkeeper Wincenty Sikola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 17th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Alacuart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Wincenty Sikola made a huge save. Remigio Valerón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Michnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EB Specjal Gdansk. 40 minutes into the match, EB Specjal Gdansk's goalkeeper Wincenty Sikola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Alacuart. 41 minutes into the match, EB Specjal Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Favoretto came free, but Wincenty Sikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Laerte Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Sikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after EB Specjal Gdansk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taurino Losantos took the corner. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Guido Escobar got a free kick in the 91st minute. Wincenty Sikola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Northe in the 93rd minute of play. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
