Lechia Gdańsk's Lucjan Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Gieraltowski in the 4th minute of play. Lechia Gdańsk were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Punishment's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roch Karbowski took the corner. Tomualdo Sauca hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Punishment's goalkeeper Gonzalo Berdaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Gieraltowski in the 11th minute of play forced Lechia Gdańsk's goalkeeper Lucjan Lanczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Lanczak came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Punishment's Tomualdo Sauca. But to his dismay, Tomualdo Sauca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Renato Chaves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Gonzalo Berdaitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Klement Gieraltowski took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Lanczak. Lucjan Lanczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 24th match minute, Lechia Gdańsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigiusz Czeberowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Tomualdo Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Lanczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomualdo Sauca in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Daniel Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Lanczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Chaves in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punishment's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roch Karbowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Lechia Gdańsk's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Punishment's Emil Bartocha got a free kick in the 35th minute. The long shot by Roch Karbowski in the 36th minute really tested Gonzalo Berdaitz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Charalambos Pallini hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lucjan Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Chwalkiewicz in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Vanooteghem got free with Gonzalo Berdaitz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Chaves to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Lechia Gdańsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Bojanowski to maneuver through the defense. Tomualdo Sauca scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucjan Lanczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucjan Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomualdo Sauca in the 65th minute of the match. Tomualdo Sauca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Lucjan Lanczak made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Daniel Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Lanczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomualdo Sauca got free with Lucjan Lanczak in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 minutes, Eugeniusz Wykowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechia Gdańsk and the Punishment players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugeniusz Wykowski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Klement Gieraltowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lechia Gdańsk's Lucjan Lanczak didn't even have to move. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Punishment walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
