In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores del Albinegro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Cornelio Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Cetin in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Oğuz Cetin made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Merexildo. Defensores del Albinegro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Luciano Jerano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Angelino Lico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Albinegro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sledgehammer KO the free kick. In the 17th minute, Angelino Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oğuz Cetin might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Merexildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuz Cetin ran back to his position shaking his head. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuz Cetin in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuz Cetin in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes Defensores del Albinegro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kristian Saleh who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Aşkın Atik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Jerano in the 29th minute of play forced Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oğuz Cetin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Cetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Benny Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Jerano in the 32nd minute of the match. Oğuz Cetin might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Merexildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuz Cetin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Sledgehammer KO were awarded a corner. Kristian Saleh went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sledgehammer KO's Kristian Saleh to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelio Merexildo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuz Cetin got free with Cornelio Merexildo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Li Sha Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benny Bur. Sledgehammer KO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Li Sha Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Luciano Jerano made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Oğuz Cetin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Merexildo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Oğuz Cetin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cornelio Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastián Caniggia went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Albinegro's zone, Sebastián Caniggia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Merexildo came out of the goal and Sebastián Caniggia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. Sledgehammer KO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Defensores del Albinegro for a fine match.
