SSC Napoli's Sakarias Bocklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Pinheiro in the 3rd minute of play. Juarês Cearense hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ceilândia Futebol Clube defense, Clark Reuterwall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Goiano. The Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Goiano should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes SSC Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Clark Reuterwall. Elias Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Lindholm charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Lindholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Walter Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Sakarias Bocklund managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Elias Dante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elias Dante did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Sakarias Bocklund 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ceilândia Futebol Clube booed when SSC Napoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Ödman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SSC Napoli defense, Claudinho Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakarias Bocklund. The SSC Napoli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakarias Bocklund should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manny Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes SSC Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Preben Kaagaard. When Elias Dante came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ceilândia Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Dante couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Claudinho Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Bocklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SSC Napoli's Sakarias Bocklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anaking Skywalker in the 62nd minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Anaking Skywalker made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakarias Bocklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per-Olof Ödman hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Anaking Skywalker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Rui Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Juarês Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sakarias Bocklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sakarias Bocklund came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Anaking Skywalker. But to his dismay, Anaking Skywalker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Emiliano Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes SSC Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Clovis Christiaens. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Leví Cabezudo was substituted for Elias Dante. Anaking Skywalker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Pinheiro in the 88th minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Sakarias Bocklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ceilândia Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ciro Gamarra hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Walter Lindholm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Clark Reuterwall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Goiano was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. 98 minutes into the match, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Rui Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökçek Mutlutekin. SSC Napoli's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
