An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lugo in the 26th minute of play forced Delay Sports's goalkeeper Jaime Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Guillen made an important save on a dangerous shot by 倪卫雄 in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Delay Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Stephansson came free, but Jaime Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
