With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Banas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdomiro Ferraz saved Montalcino SE from getting behind. The Nerd Herd were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Montalcino SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Odysseas Lagidis took the corner. The Nerd Herd's Laurits Nyheim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute Marian Banas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Espiridion in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Noce saved The Nerd Herd from getting behind. After 22 minutes The Nerd Herd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonardo de Godoi who took care of the corner kick. Valdomiro Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Banas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Lagidis in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute Isaltino Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdomiro Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Odysseas Lagidis scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Espiridion was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Valdomiro Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Banas. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montalcino SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Odysseas Lagidis was slow to take the kick. During this time The Nerd Herd's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Odysseas Lagidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdomiro Ferraz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th minute, Genílson Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Banas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Banas ran back to his position shaking his head. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Banas in the 65th minute of play. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Montalcino SE from getting a goal against them. Enzo Noce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Valadares in the 69th minute of the match. Valdomiro Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Banas in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Marian Banas took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Valdomiro Ferraz to make any attempt to save it. Montalcino SE's Modesto Atarratze was substituted for Almir Valadares. In the 87th minute Modesto Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Noce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Atarratze went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Rab 谢霆锋 kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The The Nerd Herd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Nerd Herd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
