In the 12thth minute of the game Nicolas Espiridion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Nicolini in the 17th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montalcino SE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo de Godoi in the 19th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in João Adolfo de Souza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 23 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goal looked a bit too open when Harm de Freitas came free, but Valdomiro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Valadares came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harm de Freitas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdomiro Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, MarquinhosEC's Mark Kovalev made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdomiro Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Valadares in the 38th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Montalcino SE from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Nicolas Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Kovalev to strike the kick off in the second half. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm de Freitas in the 52nd minute of play. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MarquinhosEC from getting a goal against them. Matei Răducu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Dino Nicolini sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Kovalev came free, but Valdomiro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Barrie Deacon. MarquinhosEC's Rubinho Valle was substituted for Esteve Quinto. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dino Nicolini the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Montalcino SE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dino Nicolini had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Dino Nicolini kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Montalcino SE defense, Harm de Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz. The Montalcino SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdomiro Ferraz should have stopped the shot. Matei Răducu made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Modesto Atarratze sent off a good shot on target. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Freitas in the 88th minute of play.
