Niceto Elizardo hit a great ball. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aimar in the 24th minute of play. Serafin Cesaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Gaufred prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt-Arne Åberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bengt-Arne Åberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. Victorino Gaufred had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Jonas Isauro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Niceto Elizardo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bengt-Arne Åberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victorino Gaufred. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. Piratas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Bengt-Arne Åberg scored to the left of an out of position Victorino Gaufred, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Ruben stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Piratas FC's Serafin Cesaro threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amadeo Francesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 53rd minute of play. Bengt-Arne Åberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Gaufred having to make a save. Victorino Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 60th minute of play. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 62nd minute of play. Victorino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 63rd minute of the match. Marco Ruben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Bengt-Arne Åberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Gaufred. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Gaufred should have stopped the shot. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Cui Feng Chong was substituted for Cleto Onbera. In the 79th minute César Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Claude charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Claude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Claude to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, César Bustamante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, César Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but César Bustamante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's David Aimar got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César Bustamante in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Gaufred saved Piratas FC from getting behind. In the 95th minute, César Bustamante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Gaufred was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Piratas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
