The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He Jing kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Daustad were awarded a corner. Peng Song Ting went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Daustad's Sigurd Storhaug getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peng Song Ting was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Daustad's Peng Song Ting to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafin Cesaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zbigniew Hejza hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Luis Bonet put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serafin Cesaro. After a rather tough play, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Aaron Min got a free kick in the 30th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Cesaro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Ruben stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Bonet in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Cesaro saved ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 55th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Aaron Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. made a substitution. César Bustamante replaced Marco Ruben. In the 63rd minute of the match Daustad got a corner. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peng Song Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serafin Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 65th minute of play. Daustad's Luis Bonet got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute César Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Luis Bonet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daustad's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Bonet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigurd Storhaug hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fernando Bot kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. César Bustamante might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jo Øverås. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Bustamante ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Bustamante got free with Jo Øverås in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
