The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alvaro Raymond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvin Ekerot having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot. Arvin Ekerot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Johan Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arvin Ekerot came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 22 minutes into the match, Benknotorna's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Arvin Ekerot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Ekerot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arvin Ekerot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benknotorna's goalkeeper Arvin Ekerot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Benknotorna's goalie and right to Kajetan Gdowik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Benknotorna's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 40 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Ekerot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arvin Ekerot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Trullols was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Majman in the 51st minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Dinu Ivănescu replaced Ancho Branca. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Mendrinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dinu Ivănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvin Ekerot was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Emiliano Velasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiliano Velasco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 71st minute, Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Arvin Ekerot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Velasco in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvin Ekerot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arvin Ekerot firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dinu Ivănescu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvin Ekerot. Arvin Ekerot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Despidida AFC played a much better game than Benknotorna and deserved their victory. The Benknotorna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
