The crowd rose to their feet as Edwin Västberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Galip Öveç. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ahmet Nedim Durcan made a precise shot to the right of Galip Öveç. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Nedim Durcan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galip Öveç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Nedim Durcan in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Galip Öveç saved Rincón de los Sauces AFC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Edwin Västberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Galip Öveç. Galip Öveç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nedim Durcan got free with Galip Öveç in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Son Son was the one to do the kick off.
