The referee showed Beto Acosta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Camarón Bombay's Beto Acosta got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Conrado Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camarón Bombay's protests and gave Conrado Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Conrado Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in The Gunners Juniors's zone, Abelardo Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Jastrowicz came out of the goal and Abelardo Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca de Azevedo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Jastrowicz. Dariusz Jastrowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Beto Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Jastrowicz having to interfere. Dariusz Jastrowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Camarón Bombay's Romeu Sanches in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dariusz Jastrowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca de Azevedo in the 36th minute of play forced The Gunners Juniors's goalkeeper Dariusz Jastrowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristoffer Nimtofte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Beto Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Camarón Bombay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Acosta couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Romeu Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dariusz Jastrowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Nimtofte, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
