Christophe Rau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Christophe Rau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafinha Trancoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Fabinho dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Christophe Rau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute Jeremias Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Rau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo de Senna. Christophe Rau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 35th minute of the match. When Club Athletico Paulistano's Rafinha Trancoso in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Club Athletico Paulistano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fabinho dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Club Athletico Paulistano's Rafinha Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christophe Rau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christophe Rau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Club Athletico Paulistano's corner Agnaldo Mattos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christophe Rau quite easily take care of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christophe Rau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes Talenti Roma Calcio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agnaldo Mattos who took care of the corner kick. During the 67th minute of the match Glauco da Rocha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Glauco da Rocha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Talenti Roma Calcio made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 86th minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Christophe Rau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
