Joaquin Sedillo was slow to take the kick. During this time MEXACOMX's players had a chance to rest. Luís Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Sordo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salvador Sordo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Ricardo Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Sordo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 12 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Luís Barroso. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Sordo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. MEXACOMX's attentive Maurício Meireles managed to snatch the ball when Luís Barroso made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quintino Lobo. Januário Rangel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quintino Lobo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ricardo Guerra sped through Eureka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Salvador Sordo. 30 minutes into the game, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Sordo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 32nd minute Valentim Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 35th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eureka fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Eureka's Luís Barroso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute of the game Paulo Moutinho made a throw-in which Laureano Portugal played forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eureka's goalkeeper Salvador Sordo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Guerra got free with Salvador Sordo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eureka's Salvador Sordo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Eureka from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes, Quintino Lobo made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Paulo Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Sordo having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Quintino Lobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eureka's Salvador Sordo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Eureka from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Lobo came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Gaufred. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MEXACOMX had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
