The throw-in from Doru Coman in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Gugu Almeida. 13 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Taci came free, but Emilio Posada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Juan Manuel Olivera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Pereyra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eduardo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Manuel Olivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New York Red Bulls's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Juan Manuel Olivera scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Pereyra, making the score, 4-0. After 38 minutes, Dong Hong Jian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New York Red Bulls and the TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dong Hong Jian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Bercea to maneuver through the defense. New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save New York Red Bulls from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nazım Taci to strike the kick off in the second half. When TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Juan Manuel Olivera in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New York Red Bulls's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Juan Manuel Olivera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Manuel Olivera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Juan Manuel Olivera. But to his dismay, Juan Manuel Olivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, Sílvio Luiz Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Emilio Posada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Sílvio Luiz Vieira's late challenge caught a New York Red Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, one of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-. After 83 played minutes New York Red Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Panduru. Emilio Posada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Schiau in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Carioca in the 89th minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes, George Schiau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New York Red Bulls and the TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, New York Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Schiau to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Bărănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Peker Ersed notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra. Eduardo Pereyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfred Lech struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eduardo Pereyra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-. If George Schiau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
